Shop AI Check

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Shop AI Check collects and uses your data. Shop AI Check is operated by an independent sole trader registered in Portugal. We are subject to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What we collect

Email address (for sending your report)
Store name, URL, product category, example products, and target customer description (for generating the report)
AI platform responses about your store (included in the report)
Payment metadata from Stripe (transaction ID, amount, timestamp) — we never receive or store your card details; Stripe handles those directly

How we use it

To generate and deliver your AI visibility report
To process your payment and provide receipts
To respond to your support requests
To comply with Portuguese tax and accounting law

Stripe — payment processing
OpenAI — ChatGPT queries (your form inputs are sent as part of the queries)
Perplexity — Perplexity queries
Google — Gemini queries
Resend — email delivery
Supabase — database and file hosting

Retention

Reports, form inputs, and AI responses: 90 days, then auto-deleted
Email address: kept until you request deletion
Payment records: 10 years, as required by Portuguese tax law
